No. There is no mention of any rebate. The $524.99 is the KIT price with lens.

let me just say thats an awesome camera, was going to get it but if you are into that compact digicam thing.. i wouldnt suggest it. Its a b*tch carrying that thing around, you can bang it up..... it hurts.

If you are at all familiar with AMEX BVG this should be a breeze.

I lack this knowledge and I guess it is an exclusive club or something because I would have expected a lot more replies than this.

Yup. You must have an AMEX card that still carries the Best Value Guarantee. I'm shocked more people here don't have one because with one, (or 5, they don't care how many you have), you could buy practically any camera you like at hundreds under retail while buying from a good retailer.

Interesting, how come their online prices are different from what's in this flyer? There is no rebel online for 524 and online panasonic fz20 costs 469 whereas in the ad it's only 419. What do you have to do to get the cameras at that prices listed in the ad? Is it in-store only or can you order by phone?

Nah... forget it, if reseller ratings are anything to trust it's not worth it. Butterfly photo has decent prices and good reseller ratings.

never done BVG before. Greg04 mentioned that the items in Dell and AMphoto are not identical... Makes me wonder if is this deal absolutely safe or does luck has to be on your side to make a successful deal?
