First post from a long time lurker, so easy on the flames.
I didn't see this posted, and I thought it was a pretty warm deal on a 15" LCD.

At outpost.com, as a "special of the week", is a "ST4M X-Screen 15" TFT Flat Panel Display" on sale for $199.00 (After $40 rebate) .

I'm thinking of picking one up as an "upgrade" for the computer my kids use. I'm not familiar with the brand, and a google search yielded only outpost.com . Anyone have any experience with" ST4M"?

Everyone here hates New Rochelle from my reading. Assuming you won't get the rebate back, $240 for a 15" is steep, IMO. They were available sub-$200 before. I'd hold off if I were you

I picked one up and it feels no different than my 14" sony laptop which I'm used to using.

Is that a good thing or not? I have a LCD monitor, and a notebook, and I think the LCD monitor is a lot larger than my notebook screen... and I think it is good.
