I just hope that I get the $150 credit (applied for card in mid August but haven't bought ps3 yet). When I applied it said $150 and that I had until Sep 30 to buy...

Oh well, I guess I'll be OK with a $100 credit + $45 in rewards points instead of $150 + $28 in rewards points. (The new "offer" includes 8 rewards points / $ spent on big purchase before Sep 30). OK, not happy. They should still give me the $150, right?

yeah, if they dont then as long as you have a print out, mail, or email with it saying you have until Sept. 30 to purchase for the $150 credit then you should be good.

My guess is that we'll get the $150 in the end, the system is automated and probably based on sign up date. The problem is that if it's not we'll have to deal with CSRs with IQs less than 60. Wait and see then fight later (if necessary) is my plan.

ya and none of the reps (spoke to four) are from the US that much is clear. They all have accents and can't understand Clean English.

Wow, I just ordered my PS3 on August 28th and I checked my statement online today, and I already got the $100 credit to my account! Now all I owe for my PS3 is $399. (I ordered from Amazon because I got a free PS3 DVD Remote and Resident Evil Apocalypse).

He did a totally different deal where you got $100 back on a big purchase made from anywhere. Quoting Spartan Niner from earlier in this thread "I got in on the $100 credit after any first purchase deal a while back. They deferred my app and called me today to clear up a few questions. In any event as a college student with a wimpy income I got a CC with.

The $150 is for card -applied for- in August and purchases of $300 or more from Sony Style (not amazon or anywhere else).

Sorry, I should have been more clear. There was an offer from Sony that others have mentioned that gives you $100 back after your first purchase, regardless of where you buy it from. I jumped for that deal so I could get the free movie and remote with my PS3 from Amazon. I'm still surprised that I got the credit that quickly though

Yeah, I got my credit in slightly less than a month. I was surprised. My Citi Ultimate Savings Account Free $100 on the other hand...

His purchase was made at the time of the $150 deal and they honored the $100 that he signed up for, not the $150 so I think that they will give me $150 instead of $100... If that makes sense...?

No, I signed up for a different deal on the Sony Card that gave you $100 after your first purchase anywhere. This thread is about the $150 off after a purchase at a Sony Style store. All though my deal wasn't the same as everyone else's in this thread, I figured it was similar enough to at least state that I had already received my rebate.

I got the sony card deal for the reader, is this deal only good for new applications? I want to spend 300 and get 100 back, but I don't want to spend 300 and get 0 back. Any one know?
