Hm..I bought my gf a $450 Marc Jacobs wallet and she's totally loving it. I admit though that it's a bit pricey but it's also very high quality leather and built with excellent craftmanshift and care. Every seam, every stitch appears to have been made with extreme care. You can't get that kind of quality for cheap anymore. It's not only about the materials dude.

*Makes whipped sound*

i love how everytime someone on here does something nice for their GF, everyone assumes they are automatically whipped by their GF. maybe he just cares for his gf, and he knows that she likes that stuff, so he got it for her?

good job deathkoba. once i start getting more $$$ from this job i just started, i'm going to start treating my GF as well to some things that she likes. although my gf works at coach, so I can still get stuff half off ...

Not whipped, she's always been generous to me and has never really asked me to buy her stuff. I just happened to have noticed her checking out that wallet and well, I thought it'd be nice to get her something she liked. Is there anything wrong with that? I don't think so.

Tell her that is pretty cheap for a wallet.

Get a Hartmann. Quality leather, lifetime guarantee.

you said you have an EE degree? from what, a community college?

It's a casual little story not a dissertation. As far as I know, ABET doesn't accredit true engineering programs from community colleges.

Don't be a needlessly thread crapping ass.

That reminds of those people with nice cars that live in a trailer park/cottage/shack.

i won a bet with my bands drummer in 1995 - he gave me his harley davidson wallet
it was beat up and in bad shape at the time, as his dad had used it and given it to him as 'his first wallet'
according to his dad, he bought the wallet in 1980

i still use it, it's been soaking wet, caked and filled with mud, lost and found...and i still carry it

i took the chain off 5 years ago though.

Get a big wallet like the one George has and then stuff alot of junk in it and you can sit tilted like the Eiffel tower.

If you want expensive try a crocodile skin wallet by someone like Hermes, you can easily ad a zero to that "crazy" price of $150.

coach has a lifetime guarantee-go to a official store and they will replace it for free

i wouldn't call myself a metro, but i'm not a fcking computer nerd or hick like some on AT, but I feel if a nice wallet is in your standard of living, go for it. I've learned that I should only buy the best things in life-clothing and electronics. If I can't afford them now, wait a couple of weeks/months, but only buy the best. Then again, don't fvcking pay retail for some sh!t with incredible markup like most of this stuff we're referring to. If you do, then you really are a moron. Coach can be had for at lot cheaper at an outlet, or at bluefly. Don't buy at department/official since you will be raped.

you really don't get it do you nerd. the point is:

PEOPLE CAN AFFORD TO SPEND $150+ on a wallet and that is a normal purchase.

To be living a nice lifestyle in this country, you should be making around $100k+ if you live at home. Probably around $300-400 if you have a house. But always remember there is one level higher than yours, and never get into a comfort zone.
