LV wallets are like 300-400 ish

and believe me there are even more expensive wallets

you think that paying 150 for a wallet is dumb, but other people dont

yeah an LV wallet is pretty expensive.

i suppose it depends how much you are making.

my wallet is what perry ellis. cost like $30. hav ehad it for 4 years and well it doesnt look el cheapo velcro $5 wallet like. at least have some sense of style.


i agree $400 on a wallet is a lot, and even $150 i wouldnt do. but its all relative. if i was making a million dollars a year, ii could have a $1000 wallet made out of diamonds.

Thank you. I was going to post the same thing. I have a Coach wallet, it cost about $200, but I'll never have to buy another wallet again. Mine's about 3 years old and still looks brand new.

exactly-people jabber on without knowing that. An analogy for most people to justify spending$150 on a wallet is like spending $400 for a BFG 6800GT with lifetime warranty. Why didn't you get the GF2MX? Looks, comfort, make up for penis size, construction, warranty are factors that go into EVERY purchase-clothing, video cards, wallets whatever.

i've use a $20 bifold from fossil that ive had for a year. the last wallet before that was about 5 years old.
some of my female friends spend hundreds of dollars on wallets from Louis Vuitton, coach, etc.

to which to i tell them my philosophy: dont spend more money on a wallet than how much you carry in it.

I received a Coach wallet as a gift once. Before that, I would just buy a cheapie wallet ($10-$20), and it would fall apart after a year. That Coach wallet lasted six years before it finally fell apart. I would have bought another one, but my mother gave me a Gucci wallet - which I hate, but it's from my mother so I have to use it.

well i'd hav eto say the coach wallet is actually a better deal, and this is an apples to orange argument.


the wallet is not going to be obsolete (Well probably not unless we go crazy RFID tagged money smart cards in our forehead). so 10 years from now its still worth while getting the coach wallet, whereas the 6800ultra will be worthless even if it still functions and isnt broken.

i know someone that has a wallet made of duct tape, it actually looks good. gives u that urban look. as for overpriced stuff, most of the price tag is for the brand name.
