So basically you do this for a few months while they "process" your check, then they send you a check for $0.50 because the survey results were very poor and they have every right to because they did not promise you $150, they promised you somewhere above OR BELOW $150 per week.

With that "variance" clause, I'd be quite skeptical, too. There's no gurantee you'll get 150 bucks and likely that you won't.
If you're gonna sell your soul to corporate America, why not try those companies that pay you to put advertising on your car?
Better still, for cheap college money. Sell your blood to those plasma donation clinics. It brings you in about $50 bucks a week. But then again, it's ethically questionable: people buyiing your blood, when you're supposed to donate it for free through the Red Cross.

The concept of donating plasma is something completely different than donating blood. Blood "donation" is a civil service. Plasma "donation" is a vehicle used by pharmaceutical companies to make products for profit. That's why they pay you. However, You can still feel fairly good about yourself. Most of the products are for burn victems and such...
And you feel much better with the "Beer for Blood" program. (Or, at least, that is what I was on in college)
