PC-7USB does come with USB ports. 4 of them actually.

I dont see how you can judge whats more important. Having a good airflow is important, not whether you have one oversize fan in the front or back. This means same amount of air coming in as well as going out. In my Lian, 2 80mm intake fans accompany 2 80mm exaust fans that are exchanging air at a constrant rate resulting in a good airflow control.

The oversized fan in the back is worthless if there isnt equal amount of airflow coming in. It'll just create backpressure and noise. You can put in the biggest exaust fan in the world and it wont do a thing if you dont have a good exchange of airflow.

Yes, 2 intake fans can be noisy. But that's why there's adjustable fanbus on PC-60.

I'm still happy with my Lian-Li PC 60, and YES IT DOES HAVE THUMSCREWS ON ALL THE PARTS INCLUDING EXPANSION SLOTS.

Actually that Tom's Hardware review is mostly about aluminum cases in general, with the gtower depicted as an example.

hey, this is the perfect thread. i was thinking of either buying a PC65 with the window mod OR the coolerguys case. the coolerguys case has the front game jacks and is cheaper, but i read reviews that said some negative things about it. its supposedly ligther, but i still think the lian li is better, because its so much hype. i can get the PC65 for $160 shipped about and the coolerguys one for like $130 i think. is the coolerguys case any good? or should i go with lian li. im using my plain old beige case right now thats steel, with modded BLUE LEDs...

Go with the lian-li pc-65.... I ordered mine from PC Mutants and had nothing but perfect and prompt service from them, highly reccomend.... (Cheapest price i could find shipped as well)

I bought 4 PC-65USB cases from newegg, they all came with one blue LED and one red LED. PC7 has front USB ports, 4 of em. Actually, the PC7 has the exact same front bezel that came my PC-65USBs.

It is better to have consistent front and rear airflow as opposed to creating a vacuum by itself. The 2 HD ADDA brand fans in the front controlled by a speed-control switch under the bezel + 1 ADDA fan in the back are very quiet.

That's actually pics of my Lian Li PC65.

For the LCD mod.. I used a 5" LCD (which fits perfectly into the 3.5" bays). It takes a 12V input and has a video-in input. LCD screen then just plugs into video-out of Radeon PCI video card. Windows XP just sees it as a 2nd monitor.

Personally, I'm not particularly interested inthe color of the LED. I do like that 5" LCD somebody has, am thinking about that.

However, anybody who is tech-savvy enough to be building their own comp in one of these aluminum cases will be more than capable of buying whatever color LED they want at Radio Shack and installing it.

Heh, before I was into computers I installed a blinking LED on my indoor garage door opener switch about 12 years ago that lets me know my garage door is open.
