People, you have gotta check out this case. This is one high quality case, every thing is removable and all thumb screw. Manufactured by a company called American Media Systems recently got reviewed by tom's hardware ..... that's a first time tom ever reviewed a computer case and virtual hide-out too.

I just got this case and it's frigging NICE! Its way better than any other aluminum cases selling at this price range. Example: COOL BLUE LED!!!!!!! :Q The picture on the site is nothing compare to the real one. If you purchase the case from the website is $179.99 + tax and shipping. For me I called in and talk to a sales rep - Jack. He is the one gave me $20 off. I also asked him about any bulk deals. He'll knock off another 20 if you purshase 10 units.

Phone #: (510) 353-0211 ext. 21 his email jack@amselectronics.com

Well, enough talking check out the spec and see for yourself.

gTower:
-all aluminum constructed computer case.
-w/ front dual usb, IEEE 1394, microphone and headphone jacks.
-the front is covered by 1/4" clear acrylic bezel with blue anodized accent insert.
-equipped with one 120mm exhaust fan and 80mm intake fan.
-polished metal mechanical power & reset switches.
-all large, high-quality thumb-screws for easy access (include expansion slots).
-high-intensity cool blue LED Power indicator (we are the only one with blue LED).
-all folded edges
-removable 4 bay 3 1/2 internal drive cage
-scratch resistance surface
Product specification: gtower
Review: virtual hideout

I don't see how this is "way better" than the Lian Li PC-62USB, which for example has a cool blue LED and looks much better, IMO.

well, for one thing... they are the same price.... i think. Lian li pc 62 c is selling @ $159.

differences, LL no firewire, audio, mic jacks up front. The gtower's 120mm rear fan are so quiet, you can't barely hear a thing. The cool BLUE LED ..... o yeah gotta love that, and not to metion look whole a lot nicer . O most important, thumb screws, LL don't have thumb screws on their expansional slots, the gtower even has thumb screws on their agp and pci slots .

My Lian-Li PC65 w/window has thumb screws on all the agp/pci slots as well. Plus you can get it for $159 shipped.

Nevertheless, looks like a nice case. Id be more interested in that little one, i need a tiny box actually.

they have a product called gBox, I saw the exact same thing @ fry's electronics. Nice little box, but sad thing only supports 'celery' (the new one i think).

I took a look at it, and damn s-video and composit out? hm......... o by the way, mb is made by shuttle. The one they sell at fry's is shuttle brand, prob a rebadge.

Nice looking case. Too bad it lacks the removeable motherboard tray. And as for Lian-Li, my PC-65USB also have thumb screws on all expansion slots.

yeah.... i know that's a little sux. But hey put this way, how many times are you going to take the MB out all the time after you put it in

bottom line for $159 ... its a nice case.

<< LL don't have 120mm exhaust space ..

*ends discussion*
>>

True a 120mm fan is extremely nice, but that shouldnt end the discussion. This case dosent have a removeable motherboard tray, something i always look for in the high end systems i build. I also like my twin intakes with speed control on my PC-65 (Nice to throttle those babies back when i dont need them up so high) and the rivited window. But, still a nice case. Only problem ive seen is about some enermax PS's fittin in it.

Lian Li PC-60 USB has a blue LED, Thumb screws are on all expansion slots, and everything this case comes with plus a slide out mobo tray.

So this case is equivalent to a PC-7 which sells for $110. I dont see what the big deal is about, and I dont understand how this is the best aluminum case.

Besides Lian Li comes with 12 bays instead of 8 and it has 2 80mm intake fans that doubles as a hard drive cooler in the front.

This is a good case but not a great one.

the PC-60 has blue LED? really? any place where I can see a pic? PC-7 has no front ports what's so ever, and the rear fan is more important then having 2 front HD fans. Besides I thought having 2 HD fans is pretty noisy....

i think this one is more close to the pc-601, with out the mb tray and looks better.

<< nice case

but i prefer my coolermaster atc-110
>>

I prefer the Coolermaster ATC-200

I have this case. Its a SkyHawk 4610

Here's a bad webcam pic of it.

Front
3/4 View

**Drag and drop**

The case comes with 2 front intake fans, 1 outake fan in the back. All 80mm. It has a sliding mobo tray and 4 5.25 bays. It has a total of 7 3.5 bays. The regular 3 rack with 2 external and a 4 rack attached to the floor of the case.

NOTE: The floppy bezel is currently being worked in. I'm making an aluminum for it. The DVD is also aluminum. The switch is for my cold cathode. Case modding still in progress. This case comes with 2 usb ports, audio ports, sound control, game port, and firewire up front.

PLANS: Radiator and 250gphpump in top 5.25 bay and watercooling system. I'll be expanding the front half of the top panel with an acrylic housing to house the blackice II radiator and 2 80mm panaflos to cool it. The acrylic will also flow down the front of the case to take up the top 5.25 bay to show off my pump. The 3.5 bezel has room for 2 more switches. 1 4" cold cathode behind my radiator, and 1 4" cold cathode behind my front intake fans for the swirly fan light effect.

EDIT: Better pic hosting.

the 120 exhaust is a great idea, however, since there appears to be almost no ait intake, the 120 does nothing
