PS To be fair, I think nVidia's waranty is one year but is extended to two years with registeration.

Those are only on BBA cards, I believe. The warranty on this Sapphire card is 2 years, so it is a moot point.

As Pollock mentioned; all Sapphire cards have a two year warranty.

Got mine last night from my reorder through atacom. Never did get an email invoice, but the UPS guy kocked on the door last night (at 6:30 pm. what?!?!?) and dropped it off. Sealed retail lite package. I might get around to opening it up tonight and see what it can do. I'll check back in later.

I got mine from Atacom earlier today. UPS ground is slow. I will have to wait until my new motherboard gets here from ZZF tomorrow before testing it. The price of it dropped $4.50 right after I ordered it. Does anyone know if ZZF does price adjustments like Newegg does?

Localan, could you (or anyone else) please describe to me what's included in the "Lite Retail" version? I bought a X800GTO2 "Lite Retail" from page computers, and got:

- plain, brown box
- Sapphire X800GTO2 256mb PCI-E video card
- S-video cable
- composite video cable
- S-video -> composite video adaptor
- VGA -> DVI adaptor
- Molex power -> PCI-E power adaptor
- Driver CD

I think that's it. I checked some pictures from other etailers, and it seems the "Lite Retail" version comes in a nice, pretty color box? Did Page Computers send me an OEM card when I ordered a "Lite Retail"? If so, that's a bit annoying, but they did get it to me pretty quickly. I'm mainly concerned with whether or not the OEM's have the 2yr warranty?

Mine is exactly like that, and I ordered it from Atacom. I think all of the Lite Retail versions are like that. I have yet to read of someone getting a pretty retail box.

Well, I just sold my 6800GT @ Ultra speeds so I guess I have to keep this card, sorry NutDotNet.

Even though supposedly ATI cards should dominate any HL2 Source-based games, my 6800GT @ Ultra outperforms this GTO2 at 1280x1024 at max settings (6x AA, 16x AF, Full HDR, etc.) in DOD: Source. I think it may be a driver issue or something, since I read about some people getting low frame-rates in DOD: Source, even some guys with 7800GTX's. Anyone else experiance this problem with their GTO2? I do get 6207 3dMark05's with the rig in my sig, and I can play BF2 at 1280x1024 res and all max settings w/4x AA (even terrain/dynamic lighting = high) and still get about 40-70FPS, which is good enough for me , so I guess this video card aint so bad .

Good luck with everyone else who's looking to buy this card. (we should start a thread with everyone posting their max overclocks and what-not with these video cards :-D)

The 7800GTX issue was a fix w/ the new patches and directx9 being used. if you wanted to try and fix it, add -dxlevel 80 to the launch options...but that would bring your direct x level down to 8...as far as Im aware, it was only w/ nVidia cards so it shouldn't be that for the low fps.
