16 Pipe X800GTO from Sapphire $199 + $5 shipping

16 pipe, X800GTO. It uses the R480 core, but the neat thing is that none of the pipes are disabled. This thing is basically an X850, but you have to overclock it. Apparently, it overclocks really well too.

Update: Some cards have 16 pipes enabled, some have 12. All unlock to 16 with a very simple BIOS flash

Update: Sapphire tells me this is a limited quantity SKU. There might not be anymore. The PM is checking for me now.

Is the normal GTO supposed to have just 12 or something??
I'd like to see a spec sheet that shows the difference between all of these versions....if one exists.

$200 you are only going to get a x1600 range (12 pipelines)
not going to get a (currently $300+ card)

well i like stuff that comes from Sapphire. I do own a Sapphire 9800XT on my lan Computer which i will upgrade to this since its damn cheap and so easy to mod it to X850XT.

dude we are talking about a huge performance increase if you can follow this guide.

stock : See a stock saphire x800gto 2 is : 12pipeline 400 MHz core and 490 MHz which gives you cool score for its price
modded : By a simple softwarebased mod you can unlock 16pipeline and get 20% extra power
modded/OC: you can get oc this thing to 545 MHz core and 590 MHz memory easy and you are looking at Framerate seen by a X850XT.

This card is damn cheap and can work as a high end card but some features you will miss out on advance feature like Shader 3.0 . I highly recommend this card for enthusiastic overclocker.
