So I'm not the only one that thought "TRD" was a really um, unfortunate choice?

hmmm...isn't it spelled "turd"?

Mustang? Pleeeease give me a brake. Let me guess, you also have polish rims? My friend, if we're back in the 50's, yes, your mustang rocks. In the modern world, it's all about technology. It's not how many Liters you have, it's how much you can squeeze out of the smallest engine. Take a trip to your local illegal drag races and you'll see how many mustangs are around. Oh yea, one more thing, it's about the look as well and the Mustang got none in my book.

Why do you think resale values are so low for Mustangs...

You're obviously not from California...

<< I'd rather stick with my bone-stock Mustang than have one of those tricked out rice burners, even with all the bells and whistles. >>

gimme a break the new stock mustangs come riced out. They have "air vents" that dont do anything, it doesnt get any more pathetic than that.

<< Um, yeah...a souped up Corolla.... dang, I don't even think the typical freak-nasty-ho at [an unnamed fly-by-night university in california] would go for that... >>

Well, then unfortunately you'd be wrong....

For as many stupid guys there are in this state that decides to stick stupid stuff on his car, there are at least as many girls who think it looks cool

It is not fair to make fun of this deal when you don't know much about cars. This package will do more than "rice" out your Corolla as some of you ignorant people say. The number one benefit of this package is improved handling because of the lower profile tires. If you are going to crap on this deal, at least crap with some constructive comments.

Yeah, my rims are from Poland. Hey, if you wanna squeeze the most out of the smallest engine, why don't you put a weedwhacker engine on your rice-mobile and put a blower on it? And a big fart-muffler! Oh yeah, if the ricers have looks--why do they have to put sitickers on all available surfaces if they got looks? Pretty obvious that you don't know anything about Mustangs, anyway. You won't find Mustangs at the illegal drag races because they're all at the LEGAL drag races. Ricers go to illegal races because the guys at the legal ones laugh at all the FEAR THIS stickers on their cars. And the resale value? I'm sure your riced-out cars have high resale values...prolly because the guys that buy them don't care that the engine is gonna blow in about a month after it's been pushed so hard.

Hmm... a few points. Liters aren't important? Sorry homie, I have to beg to differ. You wanna take the fastest integra, S2000, prelude, etc... with their big 2.0 (1.7, 1.8, or 1.6) depending on what series engine you got... and roll it the fastest 302 or 4.6 modular? I have a buddy right here whose mustang is pushing 1200 bhp @ 2200 lbs... what kinda HP does your corolla get? If you're talking handles, then sure, displacement doesn't matter... but if you're talking drag... then smaller engines have no chance. Sure, you can trick out an Integra with a T3/T4 turbo, and it will beat a STOCK mustang GT and maybe a cobra, but if you were to spend the same amount of money tricking out a GT/Cobra, you would SPANK the Integra.

Hey, don't talk to me like I don't know what I'm talking about either... I own an Integra, and I love it... it's dependable, it gets me around, and it's fun to drive. But I also know what it ISN'T... and that's a drag car. On the other hand, if you were saying that the Honda's/Toyota's etc can take Mustang in slalom or something like that, I'd be more prone to agree with you. (although the '03 Cobra with IRS would be stiff competition though)

Man, his Mustang would really have rocked in 50's considering they didnt start making them till the mid 60's. the time machine he would have used to get the car back to the 50's would have rocked even more.

ok this arguement between domestics and imports has been argued forever. Thats why they are in their own separate drag groups. Import lovers like imports for their reasons and domestic lovers love domestics for their own reason so lets just leave it at that. Theres no sense in arguing that a 1000hp mustang is gonna whip a 500 hp civic or whether or not its cooler to make a civic run 10s or a mustang run 8s. Lets just leave it at that and post more deals

I understand the rice folks that slap stickers on their cars but don't pack the power behind it. But what do you call those punk Mustangs that slap Saleen stickers on their sorry ass V6's? I think its just as lame.

What a bunch of idiots. You remind me of those geeks who take Pentium II's, cool them down with liquid nitrogen, and overclock them to 1.5GHz -- too bad it's still a POS PII that is easily surpassed by a nice new Athlon or P4. Okay, so you take some POS Civic/Prelude or some gimpy Mustang, you slap on a some new wheels, a bigger engine, exhaust, turbo, and some lame stickers and a Sopwith-Camel spoiler, and BAM!!! It's still a POS car!!! Modifying your crappy cars is like running in the special Olympics . . . (for those of you that catch that). Not to mention, we're getting some retarded-ass responses like, My mustang has 1000hp -- therefore all domestics are superior to imports....an argument reminiscent of the bible-threads. I can see that what you guys have in horsepower you lack in brainpower.
...but at least the freak-nasty-hoes like your car...and that's all that counts, I guess.

Dude, HKS, don't get all pissed off at me if your "car" isn't attracting the freak-nasty-hoes like you thought it would. It's not MY fault if you have to take those speed bumps at 2mph while a line of cars honks at you, or if at night, small marsupials crawl into your 4" exhaust pipe and the increased back-pressure hurts your 120 hp. Jeez, man! But look, hey, sorry about the "Sopwith-Camel" remark. There's nothing wrong with mounting biplane wings on your trunk because sometimes your brakes aren't strong enough when you're tailgating some granny at 95mph, and you need extra drag from a spoiler to help slow you down. That I understand. Alright, dogg? Aiiight.
