<< Mustang? Pleeeease give me a brake. Let me guess, you also have polish rims? My friend, if we're back in the 50's, yes, your mustang rocks. In the modern world, it's all about technology. It's not how many Liters you have, it's how much you can squeeze out of the smallest engine. Take a trip to your local illegal drag races and you'll see how many mustangs are around. Oh yea, one more thing, it's about the look as well and the Mustang got none in my book.
Why do you think resale values are so low for Mustangs...
You're obviously not from California... >>
Hmm... a few points. Liters aren't important? Sorry homie, I have to beg to differ. You wanna take the fastest integra, S2000, prelude, etc... with their big 2.0 (1.7, 1.8, or 1.6) depending on what series engine you got... and roll it the fastest 302 or 4.6 modular? I have a buddy right here whose mustang is pushing 1200 bhp @ 2200 lbs... what kinda HP does your corolla get? If you're talking handles, then sure, displacement doesn't matter... but if you're talking drag... then smaller engines have no chance. Sure, you can trick out an Integra with a T3/T4 turbo, and it will beat a STOCK mustang GT and maybe a cobra, but if you were to spend the same amount of money tricking out a GT/Cobra, you would SPANK the Integra.
Hey, don't talk to me like I don't know what I'm talking about either... I own an Integra, and I love it... it's dependable, it gets me around, and it's fun to drive. But I also know what it ISN'T... and that's a drag car. On the other hand, if you were saying that the Honda's/Toyota's etc can take Mustang in slalom or something like that, I'd be more prone to agree with you. (although the '03 Cobra with IRS would be stiff competition though)
