Even with the dual graphics cards you think this is overkill? I plan to overclock my CPU and graphics cards. I also plan add another 3 sticks of RAM, a blu-ray reader/burner and another 2 hard drives in the future. I am not too sure in the area of power requirements, so I selected a supply that i did not think would give me problems. As for brand, I do not have much experience with power supplies and do not have a preference. I base my decisions on reviews.

He has 2 4890 in crossfire, that's why.

I would also go for the Foxconn Bloodrage. (disclaimer... i don't know anything about the mobo you selected.)

u can come down to 650-750w PSU. I would stay away PowerColor cards; HIS, Gigabyte, Asus, XFX... try to stick with those brands.

Ah sorry. I missed the two graphics cards when reading it and I read it 3 times figuring that there had to be more parts...

The power requirements of more memory, Bluray and hard drives will be less than 100 watts.

I haven't used Corsair power supplies before but I've heard good things about them. That one should be more than enough power. You could probably go down one step but you don't have to. I would say 700 - 850 Watts will be more than enough.

I have a Phenom II 940 @3.7ghz, 4890 @900mhz + 4870 @ 830mhz, 4gb 1066mhz, 3 hard drives, bd-rom, dvd-burner, 3x 230mm fans, 1x140mm fan, 1x120mm fan, 790fx chipset. I am running this with a PC Power and Cooling Silencer 610w.

I would be happier with a slightly beefier supply, but with a 5 year warranty on this one I am not worried. You are thinking way overkill for your setup, and I'd advise a 700w-750w supply. Maybe even look at the low end of the Enermax Revolution series. Quality > wattage.

Edit: Yes, the newer Corsair HX750 would be a great supply to go with as well.
