CUSA doesnt' manufacture anything.

They used to bundle Maxtor HDs as CUSA HDs.

Maxtor has since been bought by another company.
I think it was WD.

You must have missed the two Compusa offers of the 200GB 7200.7 for $30 AR. Nonetheless, not bad. I'm guessing this is the 1600JB.

yeah, no more $20 instant rebate, $49.99 after $30 MIR, delivery price only, I guess they changed the price. US Logic is just a packaging company. Time to time I have seen WD drives in there and you will see the word clearly written in front of the Box, WD drive inside. But I also see Seagate drive as well. So not bad at all if you were able to get it for $30. CompUSA rebates seem to improve a lot.

Wow, I checked the site again about 20 minutes after I placed the order and the instant rebate was gone. Lucky me. It was just got the email saying it was shipped a few minutes ago. Yay.
