Apparently you missed the definition of a forum. It's a place where people can talk openly and submit their opinions. I don't have to prove anything. This guy is just an ATI basher and IT gets old. He ALWAYS slips something in to degrade ATI in one way or another in his post. Use the search feature..it's wonderful.

I agree Rollo used to have a bias to Nvidia. However, unless you look for something against ATI (and i mean twist the words around) there was none in this post.

Looks to me like he is merely reporting what he saw on a benchmark. Addmittedly he is picking and choosing as the X850's do normally win performance wise.

However, i dont remember the full context in that quote, so i cannot accurately provide analysis for it.

I agree that there used to be a lot of ANTI-ATI, however, as of late, in every post he posts about Nvidia he must also include something good about ATI lest you guys flame him; and god forbid if ATI's compliment isn't as good as Nvidias.

Its good to finally have a decent, civil discussion Creig. These others who were posting were just mindlessly flaming (i admit i retaliated though ).

You create a better product in the vast majority of ways.. admitting and showing how and why its superior to anything ATI has available isnt bias.. its truth.

Understandable, Kevin. I've lost my temper a few times as well in the forums. I think we all have.

It just gets so OLD to be reading a thread and come across a response from Rollo and see the inevitable smug little anti-ATI jab he continually throws in. He protests innocence, and yet his posts often have an anti-ATI slap in them depending how you read them. Nobody else's posts seem to be structured that way, so I have to assume it's deliberate. I would like nothing better than to discuss the hardware itself and leave the manufacturer behind, but that seems a highly unlikely prospect.

We wouldn't be enjoying the hardware we have available today if it weren't for the efforts, innovation and existence of BOTH companies and they both make products worth purchasing depending on the needs/budget of the person looking to buy one.

By superior you mean they have the fastest product? Perhaps. But of course, Rollo dismisses anyone who wants something less than a $500 videocard, where frankly with today's pricing, ATI offers many better deals.
