hehe.....cant tell ya. All you can know is it was illegal.

Well then I'm just going to assume you were caught boning the neighbor's dog.

VERY good guess but no.

so anything i can do to increase muscle mass while on lockdown at home?

First: how about you don't do things that force you to be on lockdown? That seems like the easiest route.

I knew I was close!

There isn't much you can do for muscle mass just sitting at home. I'd recommend working on something like a planche or an L-seat. Those are fun.

It's going to be hard to increase muscle mass while at home, but if you just want to exercise/get stronger, plenty of help can be found for that:

This article has some fun progressions. To properly train with just your bodyweight, you need a string of exercises that are progressively harder since you can't just dump more weight on.

Building an Olympic Body through Bodyweight Conditioning

If you can already do the basics (pullups, chinups, pushups, BW squats, etc), you may want to consider training for some of these:

Beast Skills - Tutorials for Bodyweight Feats

Once again, you're going to have a hard time getting much bigger on this sort of training, but it should make you much stronger.

There are also some fun workouts here, to mix it up a little:

The 20 Minute Fitness Solution

Try that last link especially if you haven't beendone this sort of thing before. It should get your body used to exercise without killing you, but you're still going to be sore. In fact, for your goals, I'd probably follow the exercises set forth in that blog until I could get to a gym and start real weight training.

Don't go crazy on the number of reps at first, either -- you'll just end up no stronger and injured. And include rest days. I spent about a year when I first started doing endless pushups/chinups every day, and progress got very slow after the first month. Once I understood the need for rest, my pains went away and I started improving again.

To echo what the others have said, if you specifically want abs, abs are 99% diet. Calories in < Calories out. Try cutting out sweets/dessert and that may be all you need to show some definition. Exercise will also help a little since you're expending energy to do it.

ab definition really has nothing to do with ab strength. back in HS i never did i single crunch/situp/whatever, but i had better abs then i do now, even though they're much stronger now that i lift. it's all BF%

2 Things you need in order to see any muscle on your body.

1. You need a sufficient amount of muscle mass.
2. It can't be covered up by fat if you want to actually see the real shape of the muscle, sometimes referred to as "muscle definition." You can have the biggest abs in the world, but a gut will just make you look like a fat bastard.

So it's obvious what you need to do to get "abs." Make them larger, just like you build any other muscle. Then lose the fat, you need a low total body fat %.

No one exercise is going to really help you, dude. You could make them bigger, but the layer of fat is still going to be there unless you deal with your diet. Stop posting if you're gonna ask the same damn question over and over

Yup. I'd also add the olympic style lifts - clean & jerk, snatch and the various power/hang varieties as appropriate - especially if you have bumper plates available.

OP: Warning: ab isolation exercises tend to be complete crap. Usually I'm a fan of isolation exercises for things that don't get hit as hard as I'd like doing big lifts, but your abs figure into literally every movement, and strongly enough that ab isolation exercises just reduce your ability to do other lifts. Furthermore, the metabolic effects of using your abs is minuscule; you're better off to squat and get your testosterone up to build muscle mass, and to burn that fat off.
