Just don't take her out until 1 am. If you do, be prepared to be wacked by a plastic firetruck by her father.
haha
my cousin was about 17 when she was 15. and if you're about 16 when you're 18, her pops might not mind = (he doesn't think you're trying "the funny business")
so I'm saying, I think it's cool that two people can stand each other long enough to like each other...
huh?
double huh?

Ook ok.. I relize I don't make alot of sence. I mean, Maturity wise. I mean, I'm 22 years old, but I'm really about 19~20 in the brain. damnit... does anyone understand?
I'm 18, my girlfriend is 17. I have a few friends in the same situation. There's nothing wrong with it.Originally posted by: Marlin1975
You 18 or older, then you ONLY date 18 or older. If not it will not end very well, and yes it will end. Once you hit 18, there is NO looking back, period.

BTW, 18/15 is a toss up - especially since she's just about 16. For some people it's not a problem, for others it is. I, personally, would not go out with a 15 y/o, though I wouldn't even go out with a 16 year old at 18. I feel that there is a big gap there in life experience and maturity. I remember when I was a sophomore in high school, I've come a long way since then and I just don't think I could go out with a girl at that point. As the years progress, the gap becomes less and less and pretty soon 2 years is nothing. However, to me, personally, 2 years is a lot in high school. To others it's nothing.

Im 21 my gf's 19 we've been going out for 2 years now...
Hrm. When a friend of mine was a junior in HS he had a girlfriend that was a freshman in college (I know, weird, it's usually the other way around). It's kinda sketchy, but not too bad. You're like 2.5 years older than her? If she was a sophomore I would say it's not cool, but in this case it's really your call - if you really like her and want to try it, go for it, but if you're just in it for the booty (which you don't seem to be) then it would be a really crappy idea.Originally posted by: nick1985

So there is basically 2.5 years between you. Big deal. When you are 90, she will be 88. What a cradle robber.
By the way, I'm 2.5 years older than my wife. We started dating when I was 17, she was 15. That was 9 years ago and things are going quite well.
But of course wait for any heavy dating - just a movie here or there is what you should start out with. You don't want to cause yourself any problems.
I just want to point out that not only is this guy funny, but his name is so much better than any of yours.Originally posted by: pray4mojo

it's not a matter of too young as much as it is TOO FERTILE.
My daughter is almost 16 and her boyfriend is almost 18. They have been taking things veeeeerrrrrry slowly because they are smart kids and realize how easy it would be to screw up both of their lives.
I don't think it's too young to date, but it is too young to deal with the responsibilities/potential consequences of being sexual active.
