I know this deal has been mentioned before, but more and more people are geting digital cameras and they might not know about it. I just got my first prints back from my 2.0 megapixel Nikon from costco, and i am amazed at the quality. The prints rival that of my minolta SLR camera. You can bring in almost any type media card or CDR and put it in their machine, use the touchscreen to select size and what prints you want. They are ready the next day and like i said, the quality is fantastic. Much cheaper and better than using a photo printer and paper at home.

Been doing this for awhile. $0.21 the last time. Either California prices are higher, or the price is for the better.

You have to pay shipping charges for nearly all of the online retailers, and they all charge around .20 per pic. I think there might be one where you pay a flat monthly fee for a set amount, but i still dont think it is as good as teh costco deal.

I've been doing this ... but seriously ... the quality is horrble ... or maybe it's the Chicago COSTCO staff ... the pictures are always dull and look underexposed (I'm talking about digital pictures!)

Can't wait to have my membership over ... would join SAM's Club ...

Go to this site and learn how you can get fantastic digital prints from Costco, Walmart, etc. Requires a bit of work on your part, but it is truly worth the effort.

Walgreens does digital prints for $.29 cents per print and they use Fuji paper as well... Not as good as Costco's $.19, but then you don't need membership...

It's do it yourself. You bring in the media, CDR, Memory Stick, Compact Flash, etc... and upload it to the little kiosk computer they have there. Then come back next day and they'll have it ready. Quality is pretty good, but the pic I took with my 3 year old digi-camera is okay. Wondering what prints from like a Canon S230 will look as good as regular 35mm.

Found out about Walgreens a while back when you were offering free Digital Prints, only pay tax. I'll probably use them again if I can't find anything else more cheaper/convient.

www.iphotoshop.com has fuji prints for .29 cents (4x6), it's a mom and pop shop, so the print quality is great. if u live near the store, u can go and pick up the orders and save the shipping too. well that's what i do anyways.

I've been using this service at Sunnyvale Costco for a while now. They print on Fuji Crystal Archive paper and the quality is excellent. The little kiosk accept several type of media including CDR and the prints are ready in about an hour. You can get glossy or matte. Prices are 4x6=$.19, 5x7=$.69, 8x12=$1.99, 11x14=$2.99.

The even hotter deal is the $1.99 for an 8x10. I really don't see the point in printing 4x6s any more. If it's worth printing, it's worth printing big. I print almost exclusively at 8x10 now, the rest I view on-screen.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I'm going to try Walgreens tomorrow and maybe Costco later this week. I haven't printed any pictures yet from my s230.

I've used the Costco service a couple of times. The prints' quality is not as good as prints coming from my Canon s820 printer. Colors came out a duller than s820 (had vivid feature turned on when printing). Anyone else experience this? But for $0.19/print, I keep coming back

You can upload pics to walmart.com and order 4x6 prints for $0.26/print and pick them up for free. It takes a few days usually (which I don't really understand why, it'd seem easy to have them ready the next day), but its pretty cheap, widely available, doesn't require a membership and lets you upload and print online. Their 8x10 price sucks though. I think its around $5.

Cheers

I haven't been to Costco's, but it sounds exactly like the kiosk at Sam's Club. takes all card media plus cdr's, prints on Fuji paper, 19cents per 4x6, except they are ready in one hour, which is nice, cause we usuaslly take that long to shop.
They also give you a punch card, after 240 prints you get the next 24 free i believe. I've filled up a couple cards pretty quick, as i am usually getting 50-100 prints each visit.

I've got about 400 vacation pics to go through and pic out the best to get prints of to put in the album.

The Costco in Madison Hgts, MI is really, really, honestly supposed to have their kiosk up by this weekend (of course they have been telling me that for almost 2 years now). A 6x4 will be 19¢.

cheapest and best service is www.dotphoto.com.

i've been with them for a very long time and they have always been very reliable. their prints are great
and so is their service.

I currently get 13 cents a print, but my plan is no longer available.. they have various plans and bulk print deals that
are below 19 cents per print.

check them out.

I've never tried cosco; have used shutterfly, ofoto, and dotphoto. Maybe I got a bad batch, but dotphoto was really bad (washed out, color inaccuracy) and shutterfly automatically adjusted my photos like I was some crazy n00b. I hate the 49 cent price, but ofoto gets all my business these days. I only order when they have the 20% coupons though. =)

The Walmart down here in Florida charges 24 cents per 4x6 print on Fuji archive paper. Sam's Club charges 20 cents. Excellent quality too, at least at these stores. Both are convenient - you can upload the photos and pick them up or just go there and pop your memory card into their machines. Sam's will print in one hour.

If you're not in a big hurry, try Bonusprint. They're in England, so delivery time to the states is about 10 days. 18 cents for a 4x6", $1.99 flat shipping rate, great quality, and they have a neat program to manage your uploads.

a few places give you lots of services but charge double this price!

make sure you need the services that you're paying for, if you pay over $.30 for 4x6's.

Wow, BonusPrint lets you print in digital picture ratios. No need to crop every picture because of the stupid formats.
