Boo you. What KIND of VCR doesn't have RF Out? How the heck else are you going to get the signal to the television? RCA Cables? If it's going to have ANY kind of output, its RF and not RCA (Which this has both.

Don't buy this TV, this company is the lowest of the low end. I actually wasted my money on a 19 incher and the tuner went out in the first year. The quality of the picture was crap from the start though. The buttons on the front of the tv pushed in too so you couldn't use them anymore. Please trust me on this that this tv is JUNK. This would be the reason they are selling it so cheap. Oh and the only input on mine (the tv) is a cable input. Nothing else. Hope this helps.

Although it costs almost twice as much CostCo carries a decent 19" Panasonic TV with remote for $189.

You get what you pay for, in this case you'll curse the day you bought this POS $99.95 TV.

daewoo is TRASH... stick with SONY---they have the finest picture tube in the business.
and if you can afford it, go all out for the sony WEGA screens... if you really hate your wallet, then get the SONY HDTV Wega's...

Have had a 1999 Daewoo 13" for watching anime. It's been great for the money. Thinking of replacing it with this and getting the Oritron 600 DVD player for $119 since it also play's region 2 DVD's with no hacks.

$218 for both (19" and DVD player)- $50 amazon rebate

= $168 for both before shipping ... Very nice deal for second television and DVD player for bedroom

Support for a TV? Service is alway's done through a local servicer anyway. It is the Automotive Car Selling branch of Daewoo anyway's . Why do people start half truth's on this thread? Read more then the funnies in your local paper. At least visit thier website ffs. This company pull's in a few Trillion dollars a year and thier automotive manufacturing venture was killing the company bottom line so they killed it fast.

I have a 13 inch Daewoo TV that I bought in 1999. It is great FOR WHAT IT IS. It's no sony but It's no where near the price. It's a good value in my opinion

As to service, forget about it. I have a pile of these broken. Want them? Daewoo is a joke among service centers. There policy for ordering parts is terrible. For a service center to get a replacement part, the service center must first send a bank certified check to Daewoo for the cost. After recieving payment, they will ship parts. They do not accept company or personal checks or credit cards from ANY company or service center. With such a small profit margin on TV servicing, we service centers don't waste out time with companies like this. If it's not a common, generic part, then it simply won't be fixed.

I wouldn't want a 19" Daewoo TV even at $99.95, but if Kmart again puts on sale the 19"
Curtis-Mathis TV it had advertisedlast Thanksgiving for that price it may be worth it because it's actually a Sharp. Made in Mexico TV = Sharp or Sanyo.

Sony sometimes has the best picture, but so does Samsung, and if you ask technicians it's unlikely that they'll rate Sony among the most reliable brands. Those would be Panasonic, Toshiba, Hitachi, and Sanyo, while Sony would be only average, or the same as Samsung.

It may be hard to get local service on a low-end brand like Daewoo, Orion, or Symphonic because many shops dislike the warranty reimbursement practices of those manufacturers.

Daewoo as a whole is pretty shaky here from what I have heard and been told. I am here in korea right now and the word is they are not doing well at all.
I would pass on this deal if I were you. It just isn't worth something you want to use more than a year or two.
