I just got mine today... hooked it up and it works great zero, that's right, zero dead pixels

I was getting frustrated waiting around for another Dell monitor deal, but this is a great monitor at a great price. I'm very happy with it.

Nice deal... wondering if i should go for this or wait to get a hyundai L90D+ in 2-3 months. I'm in the process of building a new system over the next 2-3 months, figured I should wait until the end of the process to buy the LCD to take advantage of price drops.

Im actually considering ordering another one, it's such a good deal.

The only thing (and it has been mentioned about a hundred times before) is the base is a very flimsy piece of plastic. That is seriously the only thing wrong with it, but the base does in fact suck

After reading some more reviews I've confirmed this is indeed a 6-bit panel, and a lot of people are complaining about the rebates not coming back (either that or they're taking a really long time).

"You can see in the downloadable manual on the neovo website that the monitor uses frame rate control and dithering to reach 16.7Million colrs, which indicates that it is in fact a 6-bit panel (260k colors) instead of a full 8-bit."

Shouldn't there be some killer xmas deals?

I ordered one of these last week for $30 more. When I got it in I set it right next to my Dell 1905fp and it compares favorably. No dead pixels - great screen. I've got another on the way at the moment.

you get your rebate yet?

j/k.. seriously, i saw a couple guys say the rebate was slow, but it was on newegg and they hadn't even reached the 8-12weeks AG allows iirc.

this looks like a very nice deal.

Thanks, picked one up. I had to buy a 9800PRO refurb from Newegg for $99 as well since my GF4 TI 4200 128 doesn't have DVI = (

I have never seen a rebate form say subject to availability before, on first line of the rebate form too. If this deal is here with 1300 views, they are probably gone lol, I will wait for a deal or rebate that doesn't have that disclaimer.

Got my lcd today. Not one dead pixel and no ghosting in games or movies. Couldn't be happier.

Got one of these for my girlfriend's gaming machine in my apartment, as she was jealous of my 'grown-up monitor', a 2001fp. I turned down the brightness to about 60 and it looks great, not a dead pixel to be found. WoW looks and plays great with a 9800pro via DVI.

Now we'll see whether the rebate ever shows...

That's usual for a rebate, most of them tell you that the company can revoke or change anything they want at any time without warning or notice, and thus they can void your rebate =p

Also, this deal has changed. It's now $311.99 shipped, $261.99 after rebate which lasts until 9/26.

Not as hot, but still okay for a 19" LCD.

Got mine, upgraded from an old 17" CRT. One dead pixel towards the bottom right part of the screen. No ghosting that I've noticed. Nice looking screen overall. I haven't tried DVI at all, because I'm going through a KVM.

For those who can't find the 9/1 - 9/15 rebate from the original deal (newegg seems to have gotten rid of all links to it), here it is:

link

Must be postmarked by 9/30.

Yeah, except there's also a $30 wall mount bracket included. So it's the same price in the end.

Just got this monitor today. Thanks for the heads up on this thing. I had a 17inch Hyundai prior to this model. It seemed very "smooth" by comparison. Right now it looks very grainy. It is set to the proper resolution. I checked the sharpness and it is not allowing me to change any of those settings? I don't have a DVI connector on the video card.
Any help and direction would be much appreciated!

got my rebate today! what a pleasant surprise. I just came home from my final final of the semester to a $50 check from Neovo sitting on the counter I had almost lost hope that they would ever send it.

brings my total to $219 shipped
