Pikced up two yesterday in Tampa. For whatever it is worth, the rebate print out does state: "offer limited to in store purchases only, not valid with transactions placed online or by phone."

Nice LCD - better than the Westinghouse 19" which is on sale at Best Buyfor $169.

Mine just arrived. Two actually, accidentally ordered two when I was trying to apply that damn coupon. No worries, my friend will buy it for cost, so its all good.

Its gorgeous. Coming from a CRT to this is amazing. Its so much brighter, and the widescreen gives me so much more space.

What a little disturbing is that I went to 5 different office supplies/computer stores, and not one of them carried DVI cables, so I am stuck with VGA, which isnt all that bad either.

Now must go game...

I just checked the rebate form that I downloaded when I ordered the monitor, and it doesn't say anything about the rebate being for in-store purchases only. I wonder if they changed the form??

The rebate form didnt' mention anything about submitting the UPC code. I notice this is true for Office Depot's APC UPS rebate as well. Has anyone submit a rebate without UPC code from Office Depot and got check for rebate (on any other purchase)? I assume because it's "office depot" rebate instead of manufacturer rebate, they can checkout when they receive the rebate to make sure that you didn't return the item to office depot via their system and so no UPC code is need. And there is no way to return a technology items after 2 weeks period and so when this rebate is processed, the customer wouldn't be able to return the item anyway...

I hook up the 19" LCD monitor and it looks great via the DVI cable. Assuming the rebate goes thru, this will be one hot deal for a 19" wide LCD $100 after rebate.

I got mine, not as good as my Sony SDM-HX73. I have yet to connect it via a true DVI cable yet though (currently using a VGA to DVI adapter).

Nevertheless, good deal if the rebate goes through.

That's what exactly mine said. And as I wrote, I contacted customer service by email, and got a phone call from local (I assume New England as I live in Massachusetts) warehouse about backorder with no ETA.

Anyway, I just cancelled the order. It is a good deal, but with no ETA and MIR purchase deadline on this Sunday, I don't want to bet.

I picked one up at Office Despot just now. They also had a Hanns 19" wide for the same price.. I wonder which is better. I haven't opened it yet- considering exchanging for the Hanns.
