Somebody looking for a "Rebate Specialist" Sorry I'm late.
I have done 3 Samsung rebates over the past year, two on the 753DF and one on the 955DF. I received the 753DF rebates without a problem. I recently ordered the 955DF from Dell and it is for the current Samsung rebate so it is still outstanding.
As far as rebate it is a long shot anyway, because of 4 reasons:
1. Rebate house is TCA - worse in industry.
> I'm not sure if it is the worst (I think ExpressGroup / Walled Lake is the worst) but TCA can be a pain to deal with.
2. Because Staples is not participating retailer
> Where did you see or hear this? I listed the Samsung rebate / promotion web page URL below plus a quote from the page with requirements and don't see any list of participating dealers. As best I can tell, the verbiage on the rebate form about "offer valid at participating resellers..." is a generic statement to indicate that not all resellers will give you a rebate form if you purchase the monitor from them. You could call TCA to see if purchasing from Staples qualifies, but, I don't trust anything any rebate center CSR tells me.
3. There is no price on packing slip.

4. Rebate house is TCA will make sure you will not get your money back because above mentioned reasons,
so if you guys buying that monitor because of rebate, return it ASAP

Just be sure to follow up on the rebate and complain to Samsun and Staples if you do not receive it. I sent my 955DF rebate form on 5/13 and received an email on 5/24 stating that my $50 rebate has been approved.

HOW DO I GET A SYNCMASTER REBATE??
Fill out the Rebate Form you receive from the retailer you purchased the monitor, or from Netbate (see links above). Please be sure to fill in the Model No., Serial No. and e-mail address.
Send the original white UPC Bar Code from the monitor box along with the completed Rebate Form and a copy of the original monitor receipt or invoice (No purchase orders are accepted. Please see copy of a sample Bar Code below.) Mail all of the above together within the time frame noted on the Rebate Form. The Rebate Form, UPC Bar Code and receipt must all pertain to the same product. Please save a copy of all the documents you send in, to keep for your records.
Rebates are available under the following conditions:
For purchases in the U.S. (50 states, DC only);
Must be a resident of the U.S.;
Rebate checks must be sent to a residence and not to a P.O. Box;
Limited to a maximum of one (1) model per address; and
Samsung employees, agencies, resellers, distributors and resellers are not eligible for a rebate

Hey, for anyone who may have been concerned like I was about then honoring the rebate with it being purchased anywhere, I wrote to Samsung and they confirmed it could. Yay!!!

Well, I know where the rebate offer is, I was just asking if it had to be at one of the participating retailers, or if it would be purchased anywhere. The rebate fulfillment says it can be ,just wanted to confirm that was correct.
