Running Win XP SP2 with drivers 6.5

MW

MW demo
1024*768 MAX, 16x AF, drivers on performance
crap
12x10 even worse
runs choppy

12x10 even lags, useless

should I overclock on the spot to 2.4ghz or higher?
Tried AOE3 demo, 12x10, MAX in game AA, there is a little ingame lagging though fps are 50-70 or more
AOE3 demo is lagging a little despite the high fps

Same with MW, fps are more or less ok but performance is crap

min fps at 12X10 are unacceptable

if your FPS is okay, then why are you saying that the GPU is crap? obviously, if your FPS is fine the GPU is working fine. there's probably something else holding you back - hard drive, ram, CPU. whatever it is it's not the GPU. the facts are right there, you just need to look at them.

so u should be able to run it like 1600x1200 / 1920x1440 no problems -.-.

As far as the X1900XTX being crap... Well, the X1900XTX and the 7900GTX are the best single gpu solutions out there right now. If you have either of those, you have a a good card on your hands. Period. So far I've been able to get every game I've tried to play with playable framerates and decent level of eye candy at 1680x1050 on the rig in my sig. If you can't get it working right, there is an issue on your end. Maybe it's your Winnie, or maybe it's your game settings. Even with a high end card, you may still have to tweak the settings a bit to get it to perform well with a level of eye candy that is right for you. Oblivion is an example of a game like that - it's extremely resource intensive, but you can make it run well on any currently available high end card. If you want a setup that doesn't require any tweaking before playing, I suggest you get an Xbox 360.

I don't go above 1280*1024, driver is at performance and not quality settings
I haven't tested games like GRAW and Oblivion on it
other games should work with aa and af but they aren't

MW for one will stutter on any card regardless of the framerate. It has something to do with the physics in that particular game.

Turn up the res and eye candy, that will make the game more GPU limited, and eliminated the CPU as the culprit. I don't think it is. Something is amiss, bad driver install, bad bios setting, something eating resources, a whole host of potential issues. Card overheating? powre connector plugged in all the way? May even want to underclock core&ram to be certain they aren't defective.

That's not very fair, it doesn't come with a comprehensive n00blet protection system, so it must be CRAP!

no aa

crap, choppy, untolerable even when fps 50-100
sometimes fps are very low as well
but gameplay is crap
renamed FEAR file to game
