I've recently purchased a 4850 512 gddr3
I play at 1920x1200 on a 24" monitor. Sometimes 1920x1080 on a 40" lcdtv
the rest of my computer is sufficient to run just about anything.
My question to everyone is, should I be looking for more texture memory for future games?
I've read reviews of the 8800GT 1gb and 512 versions and most have said the memory doesn't matter because the card isn't powerful enough to utilize it. Or for that matter, the games simply don't need it yet.
My 2.5 year old x1900xt is still able to play the games i play (many times with AA turned on). I'm just concerned about texture memory is all.
Looking for some quality input, I know the people here can supply it.
