1and1 hosting question...

I am looking on their website choices now and do not see what they offer.

was the freebie for 3 years the linux hosting, or MS hosting?

I was looking at the comparison chart, and only see that the MS package offers Front Page extensions.

However, the free for 3 years allowed front page extensions.

Any one know this?

Im not sure i understand what you are asking, the frontpage setting is under "domain"

Yup, they do support it. Linux servers have had frontpage support ever since frontpage came out

why does 1and1 suck...i have not had one problem with them and find their admin tools easy to use.

also, everytime i had a support question they got back to me in 24 hours.

i agree at the beginning it was a little immature, but they have improved it greatly.

I'm using 1and1 right now. I find them to be quite reliable and easy to set up. I don't think they suck at all.

I have one of their accounts, the interface is the worst thing I have ever used but the plan is fine if you do everything via FTP. (it's free after all...)
