I just copied a movie from my 60gb to my ibm 120gb hdd last night and when I tried playing it I got this "data error-cyclic redundancy check" message and my hdd also made some clicking noises.
I've ran the ibm drive fitness test but when I tried doing the quick and advanced test I got a "drive not detected" message. I think it was 0x20? I've tried running norton and winxp tests to detect bad sectors but I couldn't find anything.
Anyone have any suggestions. I've obtained an RMA because I think it's just a bad hdd. I know ibm is supposed to be one of the best in the buisness but this will be my 3rd ibm gone bad.
