Just got my 1.2 T-Bird a few days ago got it humming along @ 1442Mhz right now on a MSI K7T Pro2-A . Been running Prime95 for 20 hours or so , really stable so far . Tried for 1500Mhz but locked at the Win98 splach screen at any voltage ..

I recently got a 1Ghz T-Bird and it came with this Coolermaster fan/heatsink. It's pretty big. The CPU is running around 48 degreed C idle and around 51 degrees C after playing some games. Are these temperatures OK?

I just joined the 1 gig Thunderbird Club last week. I got the MSI kt7 pro 2a and thunderbird 1Gig,also threw in a ATI 32 DDR and man what a difference from my old 450 POS. For those interested, I got mine from Monarch....a bit of a fight to get it to me in 5 days but they did get it to me. I'm still debating on how to rate them...yes they got it to me but I had to fight for it.

The key is to get nicely toasted before playing any games. Then not only does your computer run smoothly, but so does life in general Of course, that's only until you wake up the next morning

well, how bout if I got 1ghz running for 2 seconds?
cuz I upped a duron700 to 1ghz and it crashed after a few seconds
anyway, that duron700 is my brother's b-day present, so its not really mine.

but then, there's my athlon500 classic slotA chip, which gets me half way in the door of the 1ghz club oh well, let me be first on the 2ghz club MWHAHAHAHAHAH *evil laugh*
