FYI, from the rebate: "Limit one rebate per eligible Crucial memory module per household."

To me, this sounds like this restriction means you qualify for one rebate per module, meaning that if you buy two, you'd qualify for a rebate on each. However, I'm willing to bet the rebate clearing house would say it means one rebate per house. Even if you were "right" in arguing you should be able to do one rebate per purchase, I don't think it's worth the potential argument and delay. If you want two, I'd go for a different address on the 2nd one.

Edit: Another option, 2GB (2x1GB) of Corsair Value Select DDR at Frys. Link, this one is a winner if you prefer one $40 rebate over two $15 rebates. Thanks to crazyhorse at SD for this one.

Edit2: Looks like they already pulled the Corsair at Frys.

FINALLY some cheap DDR1... I have been getting sick of seeing all this cheap DDR2. So jumping on this... even though i'm running 2x512MB Kingston HyperX now... just gonna have to clock em back

I hopped in on this one while heading over to check out the HP LCD earlier this week. Free 3 bus days shipping too (that's what finally sold me)
I wasn't willing to gamble on the wording in the rebate offer so the second module is waiting (either for a new rebate program or a decent price drop)

Well I have been waiting on a deal for DDR for some time but they have seemed almost nonexistent especially compared to the flood of DDR2 memory deals recently. After some debate (taxed here) I jumped on this deal in fear it may be one of the last good deals.

Geez it's about friggin time. I would have expected these lower prices before the stupid cheap DDR2 prices which I took part in as well. I just never understood why we never saw the super cheap deals on DDR1 ever... Is this the first and last deal of it's kind before it goes the way of 30 pin SIMMs or EDO memory?

Has anyone gotten this RAM and been able to OC it past 214Mhz? With my current Opteron setup, I'm looking for RAM that can OC to around 220Mhz with 2.9v or less.

I got 2 dimms stable @ 240mhz stock volts (2.65) w/ 3000+amd 939 on a jetway pro a210GDMS (ATI Xpress 200 chipset)

hey all, i just received my ram the other day. i'm just wondering if everyone else got it in a static free bag + bubblewrap-galore.
the little static free bag has the UPC, so this should be fine for the rebate, right?
