People should be aware that although most systems are compatible with ECC modules, few supports registered (aka buffered) modules. Registed ECC modules are typically used in servers and may not be compatible with desktop systems.

That said however, the links you provided are e*ay links, inappropriate for this forum.

The brand is "Supertalent." Despite the name I have 4 of these in my Dual Opteron system and they work great. I'm personally waiting for the prices on 2 GB modules to drop a bit more.

Looking at the seller information of betha1377, it shows the location to be Norcross, GA
MonarchComputer.com is located in Tucker, GA and Google Maps shows that it's only a 7mi distance between the 2 cities.

And now that boles pointed out the exact same item from MonarchComputer.com, I find it hard to believe that regalboom12, betha1377, and MonarchComputer.com doesn't have anything to do with each other.

If you just keep an eye out on Ebay auctions you can get them much cheaper. I bought a matched pair of infineon ECC/registered 1gb modules (2gb total) a couple of days ago for $127 plus $7 shipping. Nice little upgrade for my Opteron system....
