I hate campers. I was playing with one last night on COD MW2. Every level we played this jerk had one spot picked out that was virtually impregnable. He'd sit in there and you couldn't get near him. It was kinda lame.

funny story. On a whim my girlfriend and I went up to the mountain to camp. We didn't bring anything but clothes on our back. We get to the mountain and was looking around but it was pitch black. Finally we found a table to lay down. 15 minutes later we heard a bunch of people around us and sat around the table. They were getting ready to eat us. lol

Anyway, I recommend MRE's instead of cookware. Much easier and less waste in the end.
Also, please bring garbage bags. I hate going to campsites only to find assholes have left shit all over the fucking place.
Bring a flashlight. And batteries. That may sound obvious but many people forget.
A good first aid kit.

I cant think of much else. Beach camping doesnt involve a lot of work or thinking, which is probably why its so popular with Americans.

yes but keep separate coolers for food and beer. no cross contamination. Also only bring food that you will be able to keep cold on ice the entire time. Eating spoiled food isn't fun.
