OK, so maybe a bit of a newbie problem here. I just finished building my brother's new Ryzen 1600 build yesterday, got Win 10 installed, ran a few tests and benchmarks, and called it a night. This morning, I set to work trying to squeeze out all the pent up performance this thing has. I am not an overclocking expert here, so I decided to take this very slowly. I manually set the VCore to 1.3 (recommended 24/7 is 1.35), frequency to 3.6 GHz as a starting point, and booted right into Windows. I noticed in CPU-Z that the displayed VCore is 2.528 while running Prime 95 blend. As I said, I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure this CPU would have a hole melted through it at that voltage. Temps were good. Never went above 70 on the stock cooler, and was rock solid (as it should be since that's the stock boost).
Does CPU-Z and HWMonitor have a problem displaying Ryzen voltages or have I missed something? Appreciate any input here. I've never seen that on any of my Intel OCs, and this one sort of threw me for a loop.
