Nice to have everything working as it should be without 3rd party stuff.
Also installed the P4G8X-D in my wifes PC so will be testing the 2.6C in it when it comes in.
yea sorry i couldnt do indepth super overclocking thread on them but my testing abilities are rather limited on the P4G8X.I did go ahead and order some HyperX PC3500 2X256 modules from Googlegear.
Thank you for your testing of the HyperX - Mr. Rook
Thanks for the reminder.very interested in the p4c on the p4g8x
remember ~ 200fsb may not work, youll have to try 201fsb due to pci dividers (thx to Mikki for that work)

Thugs, if you're still reading this thread, which 92mm fan did you use? I installed the MCX4000 today and it did drop the max temp w/ Arctic Silver about 6 degrees, but the 80mm Thermaltake case fan II sounds like a jet engine. Fortunately the QFan Control set to fast response time makes it bearable for now. What doesn't help is that the fan isn't all that balanced, so the computer vibrates too on the higher RPMs.
Thanks
P.S. I used a pretty thin amount of Arctic Silver, hopefully not too thin... Less messy though too thin than too much. I could see the CPU slightly, should the CPU be coated so that you can't see it at all?

Thanks jhites, I will do that. In the mean time I just turned down the maximum speed of the fan to prevent the vibration. I'll start a new thread rather than keep borrowing yours.
