Not being a smart-ass but about 7% faster as the speeds imply....However will you feel any tangible rpeformance increase other then seeing a faster score here or there in a benchmark...probably not....
Usually unless it is not at least 10% you may not feel the improvement all that much.....
Money may better be spent in vid card upgrades or save it for a SLI config come later...

I have a P4P800, and looking for a decent CPU to put into it that will not break the bank.
Have you tried just ocing that 2.8c?? many of those do 3.2ghz with their eyes closed and even on stock hsf...get 15% increase in speed then we can talk a bit more...still in normal desktop use no noticeable difference....
Who know with the right hsf maybe that 2.8 can do 2.5ghz..A lot of them did make it to that level especially of the later steppings....
At stock speeds the difference is not noticeable between the 2. For overclocking, the 3.0C is a very good chip which should usually hit 3.6 on stock vcore.
