Virtual Dub! That was it. Thanks for refreshing my memory
However, Its not working for some reason
When I try to load a .avi file I get this error.
Couldn't locate decompressor for format "Xvid" (unknown)
VirtualDub requires a Video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. Directshow codecs, such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable.

Looks like you need to download Xvid
http://www.xvid.org/
You best bet is to use 'direct stream copy' (in 'video' menu).Originally posted by: Geekling
Apparently saving as .avi = one VERY big movie. How can I change this? I need it to fit on a dvd.
Open Windows Movie Maker and press the F1 key.Originally posted by: Geekling
I've never used WM. How exactly would I do it in there?
