Wow! Great selection, too. Tax is involved, so $32.18 for 4 quality DVD's. There's a store no more than 10 minutes from my house, but I'm going to make them ship it my way. Suckers

One Question that has been bugging me. These old movies list Dolby 5.1, do they go through and remaster it, or are they faking it, etc. I just can't see them spending much time/effort on rehashing Airplane, etc for the new format.

It varies title to title. Gone With the Wind, a 1934 (?) movie, had a 5.1 track that had been remastered. More recently, the Indiana Jones series also got a remastering.

My guess on Airplane! is that they took the Dolby Surround track from the original movie and put that out on 5.1 channels. I tend to agree with you (they wouldn't have spent a whole lot of money remastering it)...
