I agree with you, it's good to be paranoid. I register my domains with Namecheap.com and I can change my info to anything I want.

To answer your earlier question, I would get 2 accounts instead of getting 1 account doubled. This way you can have a hosting account for each domain, personal and hobby.

Got my welcome letter today from Dixiesys. To bad I'm at work now. I switched the name server this morning. Hopefully it will populate by tonight. I use directnic.com. It is $15 per year but I've used them several times before and they are really reliable and fast.

I'm probably going to get in on this too (CW refugee), but I keep going back and forth between plan choices. I've got two domains right now (well, some more parked ones, but I can redirect those), but it would be nice to add additional ones when messing around (say for a friend or relative). Nothing right now requires huge storage or BW requirements.

$39.95 400MB Storage, 6GB Transfer, 40 Emails, 1 Domain only (redirect everything else)
$39.95 200MB Storage, 3GB Transfer, 20 Emails, 2 Domains (keep domains completely separate but splits storage & BW)
$100 800MB Reseller, 12GB Transfer, 20 Domains (and I can balance storage & BW as needed)

I don't really need the space and BW of the doubled reseller. I'd prefer to get a 50% off Reseller (but Gary won't do that, I asked I prefer the reseller because of the flexibility to do my own balancing of site sizes (i.e., my heavy site can have 80% of storage, but only 50% of BW if needed). But I can't justify the huge jump in cost to myself ($40 -> $100). Oh, for those that are going to ask, if you prepay by check, Gary will give the year pricing deal (12 months for the price of 10) just as for the individual sites. Just no credit cards.

I wonder if Gary would allow two people to jointly buy the pair of small reseller accounts but keep billing separate I'll have to ask.
