My set is stable @ 4-4-4-15 @ 920 MHz @ 2.2v

Green PCB with black heat spreaders. Not sure of the IC's. I know it's either Elpida or Micron. Does anyone have any comments?

I don't think anyone can say for sure... in fact, it seems likely that the D9s were used for a limited time - a set of which was tested by Tom's. However, everything I have read in forums indicates that these 'still' overclock like mad so it is possible that there are some D9's still out there or they just work like they are. Coin toss on the D9s but the performance is good regardless.

FWIW, the set I got of these could barely do 900 even at 5-5-5-15 and 2.2V, so maybe I just got a bad batch. It's solid at around 860 @ 4-4-4-12 though. No clue if they are Micron or not (how do I tell?)

If they can't do 900Mhz then they are not D9s.

I've heard the sticks with green pcb may be D9, black pcb are Elpida....

I had a stick of these that only did 860 mhz. I'm pretty sure they aren't D9's. I replaced them with Firestix and am running 900 mhz 4-4-4-12 2.1v now.

I'm positive that those Patriot 4-4-4 sticks are not Micron D9. I have bought 4GB from Newegg so far. They all do well at spec timing at 800 but the second pair has hardly any overclock room. The first, however, can do 980 at 5-5-5. They are good memory at current price, if you don't count on oc, and if you get the rebate back.
