Yes, the roommate was wrong for making and broadcasting the video. No one seems to be arguing that, but the suicide is a separate issue, and the ONLY person to blame is the guy who jumped. No one pushed him off the bridge.

Let me answer this . Why does it have to be dicks you tape him with? Why not tape him with women? I mean he ain't gay so his choice may be throwing down with some big butt sistas on the side. Because see if it was so "natural" and "not a choice" as so many of you gay loving folks here push, then he should not have killed himself and he would have no shame. I know people who've made the choice to go with a gay lifestyle and I know people who cry and sob and HATE that they are attracted to same-sex simply because of all the backlash they get.

You can choose to be gay. You can have a genetic disposition to it. The two are not mutually exclusive and both exist.

That being said, those who break down emotionally over someone else's view of their sexual preference do indeed have a problem but the sexual preference is not the problem. The problem is that they actually care about what someone else thinks of them. The sooner the gay community stops giving a shit that some damn redneck doesn't like them, the better. Grow a backbone for Christ's sake.

Now, before someone comes in here talking about how gays are beaten and killed because they're gay, yeah yeah blah blah. People are murdered for absolutely no reason every single day and the percentage of them that are murdered for being gay is absurdly small. But what is lost in this whole discussion is, this person made a choice. Period. But rather than focus on the guy who did this to HIMSELF, people want to blame someone else. Some things are the fault of others. But when a person is faced with confrontation regardless of what it is, that person has to make a right choice. See people want to be politically correct, rather than being brutally honest. If he was this ashamed why didn't go to a hotel room? And how much you wanna bet he knew there was webcam in that room?
