$20 coupon to Palomino Restaurant

Palomino is a moderately upscale restaurant with locations in Charlotte, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Honolulu, Indianapolis, LA, Minneapolis, Palm Desert, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Seattle. I just went to their website and joined their "Premier Email Dining Club" which is basically a free mailing list through which they send out specials and stuff. Anyway, later that day I received a coupon good for $20 off my next meal! Not too shabby... Never been there, but might as well try them out for $20 off!

I live near their Palm Desert restaurant. Food is great, if your not hungry enough for full meal get there at happy hour for drink and food specials.

Nice. I've been to the one in SF and Indie. Never really remember the entrees cause I usually spend a couple of hours at the bar first (wonder if this coupon would be applicable there, hehe). Appetizers are GREAT.

Sweet! When I signed up, requiring my email and first/last name, the follow-up page told me to check my email for the coupon. I received a $15 coupon for the Seattle location immediately (in fact, I just did <check mail> and it was there!).

The coupon is only good for the "specified location", so I guess Seattle costs a little less than L.A.

Wow, that's a deal... I've been to the Cincinnati restaurant, food was very good. View was cool, too - right on fountain square. Not that 99.999% of the people reading this will know what I'm talking about. Whatever.

I think I'll hold out until the Barton restaurant comes out. Thanks though.

I used to work in the same building as their Seattle location (US Bank Centre) years ago and the Palomino Bar was a frequent stop at the end of a long day. Wouldn't mind visiting there again when I head back up there for a visit.

I took my girlfriend to the Minneapolis Palomino for her bday. The atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately, we had to send her dish back because it was totally bland...completely unacceptable for this caliber of restaurant! Her second dish was much better. Had I not had this $20 coupon, I would have felt jipped from the place. Our meals were okay, but not as good as I would have expected for the price we paid. After the $20 off, I felt we paid a fair price for the meal.

Our meal:
Me: Spit-roasted chicked - rosemary and garlic, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies. (7/10 rating) = $17
Ceasar's Salad with capers - had a unique flavor but I liked it (6.5/10 rating) = $6.50

Beautiful Girlfriend: (First dish) Spinach pasta with feta cheese, marinara sauce, spit-roasted chicken - all baked together (2/10) - totally bland, sent it back!
(Second dish) Seafood paella - saffron rice, clams, mussels, Dungess crab, sausage (8/10) = $17
Greek Salad - olives, feta cheese, can't remember what else (didn't try it, so no rating) = $5.00

Total after coupon: $30.99 (w/ tax, not including tip)

Just wondering... isn't a Palomino a type of horse? Mmmmm, T-A-S-T-Y.... Wilburrrr! Just kidding, I'm sure it's a good restaurant, thanks for the info.
