Strange I added it to my cart at $39 but after I choose to pick it up in store the price was raised to $69.

BTW, the chair is okay for the money. I bought two of these a few months ago for almost free after MIR.

For anyone wondering how comfy these chairs are, or rather, any chairs are, I'll assume there are people with no clue about chairs like myself.

For how they tilt back, how easy it is to tilt back, etc., there are a lot of knobs on the bottoms of some of these that can be adjusted to select how stiff, etc it feels. I never knew that until I was chatting with the Staples guy while checking out a bunch of chairs. I never realized they had so many adjustments on some of the chairs.

Er n/m, yeah 39.99 if you ship it instead of deliver. I called in, and they said it's an online deal only, even though it's only the shipping method that would differ (weird). My local store wouldn't match the web, but YMMV.

If these chairs are the same ones they've been selling for 30-50 bucks for the last few years, then I can probably give you some input on them. I've had my black leather chair for over a year now and it's still in pretty good condition. Squeaks whenever I sit or swivel but I've gotten used to it. Construction is somewhat sturdy but definitely not $300 sturdy. Comfort...eh...it's a chair..padding runs a little thin. It's hard to sleep in, that's for sure. But hey, for 20 bucks...you probably can't even get a decent folding chair nowadays.

I sat in THE MOST comfortable leather executive chair the other day at Office Depot! It was one of their best models, cost like $260... I think I'm going to spend my $300 tax rebate on this

I bought one of these chairs last year. It's just okay. Not a great chair, but sure beats a hard desk chair.

Anyway, I just got a call from OD. Apparently they tried to make a delivery today but no one was home. They'll try again tomorrow.

THe problem with any of these cheap office chairs is that the padding on the bottom is too thin and thins out over time to the point where it feels like you are sitting on a board. I think it's more wise to spend a bit more and get a better quality chair with a large, stiffly padded seat. There are chairs on sale at Staples right now. I like the ones that Novimex makes... they are affordable but feel like quality and they have big firm seats that should last much longer than one of these super cheap chairs. For example, this one or this one.

I'm sitting in the chair right now as I type this--was delivered today. Swivel, tilt and height adjustments all work very nicely. As mentioned above, not a ton of padding but certainly comfortable. Is it worth $300? No. Is it worth more than $20? I'd say so...

Only complaint is I wish the back was a bit higher--I'm 6'2" with a longer than average torso for that height. Oh well, I have this complaint with much higher priced chairs too. Good deal if you are able to get in on it.

I received the chair today from the local office depot. For a $35 chair it's not bad at all. However, I second that the back should be longer for taller people. The leather is smooth but not very soft which makes the padding feel stiff. All in all, not a bad deal for the low price.

Lol every year this same deal comes up and it's always a $200 chair that has been marked down to $40. I got one last year for the same price, the only differenece is the way the arms are desgned.



Sorry but I'm going to say not hot because the chair is always this price give or take 10-20 dollars.
