HEY GUY's, IT WORKED!!! Those Idiots!! Total price with Ship & Tax to Boston: $33.60. The Evil Empire is really crumbling, Mu ha ha ha ha ha ha. When I checked it out, it said the usual $49.99, then the 20% kicked in, so it came down to $39.99 with $5 ground plus tax. Then I clicked on Overnight for $0.01 and took off another 20% Ahhh, they got some great software.....

Now lets all hold out breath until this coming week or November and then just watch them cancel all of our orders. :evil:

Man, I wish they had UT2004 available for pre-order. Thats really the only other game that I want thats coming up. Yet theres really no firm date of release on that one? Sometime in Nov. as well, but nothing concrete.

Now how many guys in here actually think CompUSSR will actually honor the price? In Massachusetts, the state law requires a business to honor a price even if it is in error, until the business posts notice that said price was a typo or other error. I'm just waiting for that e-mail so I can print it out with my Web Order # and 40% off price. I already have a premonition that I will eventually have to duke it out with a CSR rep over the phone or a store manager. Hey guys, this IS CompUSSR after all

Boy this is why I LOVE ATF HOT DEALS!!. Now if this works, and I actually get the damn game for $33.60, it will prob. be the second best deal I've gotten on the HD board. Last May, I got a WD 120G 8MB SE Hard Drive for only $79 @ Best Buy during a one day only sale that was un-advertised. Of course the industrious guys in the Hot Deals forum let me know, and I got it for half price. Sure, today this deal isn't really all that of a deal but back then it was hot, hot, hot.

It's not really a bug with penny shipping. If you just click update cart without changing the shipping option, it'll automatically take the 2nd 20% discount off your item. Of course, shipping it next day for a penny is better than $5 for ground, so you'll be doing penny shipping anyway, but I just wanted to point out that you don't have to if for some reason you like ground.

you still need to order something with penny shipping available to get the 2nd 20% off, but you don't need to switch shipping from ground to penny shipping in order to cash in

Well it seems like it would only apply on line. As the game won't be available for two more months, and the B&M CompUSSR can't give you 20% off for a game they don't currently stock yet, right? Unless you can pre-order the game @ their Customer Service desk or something, but I can't really say as I've never tried? Call them and ask though and ask to speak to the manager, don't ever take anything one of the minions says at face value.

I'm not even seeing a "Add to Cart" button on the HL2 page. SOB... looks like the CompUSA folks disabled it. In fact, other preorders have been removed from ordering too. 20% off all games my ass. :disgust:
