OT: Why does everybody like Sat Radio so much? People on AT obviously know how to use mp3 players and know this a cheaper alternative as well, even if you got a $300 and up mp3 player due to service charges.

Yeah, I have some 40 gigs of mp3's on here, but nothing compares to the randomness of the radio. Good radio that is. That's how I find a lot of my music. The local college station around here used to be a godsend, hooking me up with fresh supplies of new artists and songs every time I turned it on. It has since gone to hell, so now I'm looking for a way to hear new stuff. Indie Pop Rocks! on SomaFM (give it a listen, great stuff) is doing its part, but I want something for the road. Nothing beats listening to music in a car. Nothing.

Do you prefer Sirius or XM. I think Sirius is the better of the 2 when I listen at work.

No clue, haven't started to do any research on it. My parents just got XM, and driving around listening to it I was pretty impressed. That's what made me get the wild hair of satellite radio. Plus you can pause the freakin radio, and it will record up to I think the last 30 mins of music that was played, so you can go back and listen to a song if you liked it. Now that's the wave of the future.

Getting blown in a car beats listening music in a car.

Getting blown in a car is just a thing, getting blown in a car listening to music is where it's at.

Thing is, it really doesn't go that far.

like a week and a half

I think I'm gonna invest in a satellite radio though. Now the thing is which one?

You smoke too much. A half of crip should last you at least a month. Nowadays, it would last me two years

Either that or they need to find a better source
