Question about the 2001FP

Is it possible to have the 1:1 pixel mapping work for widescreen resolutions say 1600X900 or 1280x720. When i set my resolution to 1280x720 and turn on 1:1 pixel mapping i get a screen that is 1280x720 streached verticly to 1280x1024 pixles so everything is skinney. so is the 1:1 only work for 4X3 ratios?

I think it can do wide screen 1:1 I don't remember though. Its been awhile. You would probably need an app to add the resolutions though.

I added the resolutions 1280x720 and 1600x900 using my nvida display driver and when i try to use those resolutions the horizontal is right but it allways streatches the verical to fit within the 4X3 ratio. so for example if i do 1600x900 if fills the screen but everything is tall and thin. is there some other app i need to get this to work of is this just a limitation of the 2001fp? by the way if it matters im using a 6600GT.

Did you try using different monitor timings? Its in the NVidia driver "Device Settings >>Screen Adjustment" then the Display timings tab. Try fixed aspect ratio timings. It works fine for me with my BenQ display.

Sweet that did it. Actualy the "centered output" works the best then if i want i can do a 1:1 pixel match of 1280x720. if i do 1600X900 then either "fixed aspect ratio scaling" or "centerd output" works. Hey is there anyway to change the color of the black bars when you use this option in the nvida display driver? Thanks for your help kmmatney
