<< Hi Gerrick:
___With the Auto show here in Chicago this week, I am hoping for a good deal like what you found for the Civic LX. I have been looking at the Civic LX 4 Dr. for the last two months and they are just a touch under $15,000 ($14,983) including destination at dealer cost here in Illinois. The 2002 Camry LE?s look great but at $18,000.00 w/ 32 mpg-highway to be burned up in 4 years is a bit much. Having a 92 Accord LX with 156,000 and 2 set of tires, a broken timing belt at 132,000 (I should have replaces it at 120 ), and minor suspension work to show for it, Honda?s have my vote for the longevity and low operating costs. My wife?s 92 Toyota Previa has 162,000 and has had 3 sets of rotors and calipers (this is pissing me off) as well as 1 AC rebuild. The 97 Nissan 4x2 P/U has 90,000 and won?t start in wet weather (POS!), the 2000 Chevrolet 4x2 ext. cab has 39,000 and the passenger seat will not latch (4X to the shop now ?) and only gets 21 on the hwy when it was supposed to get 29, and my long forgotten 87 Mercury Sable was basically undriveable at 160,000 w/ A/C going out twice, fuel injection shot, suspension shot, along with rotors and pads every 45,000 ? The Toyota with last weeks rotor/caliper/pads replacement is still solid but I need a high mileage car for work (200 miles/day round trip) and the Civic looks to fit the bill. That $13,999 is a deal for a car that works as well as the Honda?s I have owned in the past and gets 38 mpg on the highway to boot!
___I do have to ask if the $13,999 for an LX 4-dr. w/out side air bags included destination as well?
___Thanks for the heads up. Now I will just have to wait and see ?

no side airbags with destination. It is also a 5 speed.
