Old People dying in Europe would be catastrophic for European/American Diplomacy because there'd be nobody left in Europe that would remember that the USA helped spare them from Nazi and Soviet tyranny

I don't think that many european countries have the required power generation to cope with mass a/c usage.

France had some serious problems with their grid during last summer.

I don't believe they have the kind of power generation capacity necessary to support everyone having air conditioners. Heck, the US barely has that capacity when it gets really hot.

Its gonna take more than a shifting jet stream to put us in another iceage, more like shifting the polls a few degrees. How are we supposed to stop weather patterns the same way we can stop earthquakes and volcanos and floods?

most european homes don't even have central veltalation systems, they uses radiators for heat. also thier windows tend to be of the folding/swining variety, not the type that would acomodate a window a/c unit. this is a much bigger problem than just the power grid for them.

They should look into alternative cooling solutions to the heat problem better insulation,evaporative cooling,etc.....
