You mean Xenon or true HID? Sylvania-Osram (sp?) made some decent upgrade kits a few years ago. Not sure about now.
Was thinking about upgrading my 67 Mustang's lights to ditch the sealed beams, and convert to true HID lighting. I just need finish my wiring project first to make room for all the ballasts and extra stuff that comes with HID kits.

It's xeNon

What's wrong with the factory halogens? Many aftermarket bulbs/HID kits do not perform nearly as well as OEM ones, so you should be wary of replacing the stock lights unless they are really bad.

Maybe its not my concern but WTH are you trying to "hook up" a Saturn?

Unless the OEM halogens are terrible for some reason there is no need to get an HID kit / Xenon lights.

Most after market HID kits suck (most, not all), and most "Xenon Blue" bulbs do nothing for visibility.

I think you're better off going to some saturn forums to get some ideas. You'll get more info on the types you can get, where to get em etc. That said, from what I've read here, aftermarket lamps are not as good as the factory provided ones. Zenmervolt has explained this a few times already.

Check this site out. http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/

Doesn't that car have projectors? It might do ok with an OEM brand kit... i.e. Philips or Hella, but don't cheap out on an eBay kit.

The best results would be to retrofit an OEM Xenon/HID projector into your car. This would give you the best results.

The site above should answer all of your questions.

I'm currently running a set of FX45 Bi-Xenon projectors with 4300K bulbs fired by OEM Nissan/Inifiti ballasts in my 2000 Mazda Millenia.

i got a plug and play kit, cost me like 120$ shipped. got a group deal on a car forum. Its been 5 months and no problems with it.

my stock 9004 bulbs were poorly designed. i painted the lower portions of the headlight to reduce the amount of light/glare going to drivers. aimed it a little lower then normal. Its not the same as a projector setup but its way better then stock in terms of light on the ground. I can see a lot more then i can ever do with stock halogens. I'm running 5k bulbs which is pretty much white with a hint of blue. I've yet to get high beamed. i drove in front of someone driving my car and it doesn't glare at all to me.
