We have a player (Texas_Aggies) who appears not to be active at all. I have locked the account, except for posting messages. If the player doesn't respond by Friday, the team will be disbanded.
Question for the other players: Admitting a new player at this point in the season would be hard since it would be virtually impossible for them to make the playoffs not having played 3 weeks to accumulate points and wins. As commish, I cannot give the account to a new player, only lock this one, disband it, drop players, etc..
If I disband, then people get a bye for that week where they would have played Texas_Aggies. That's not fair to the players that did play a team that week, in which case a team also lost to Texas_Aggies.
I can manage the team, but the player can also withdraw from the league which would mean we are back to the same scenario above.
I might be able to disband and join with a new team on one of my yahoo accounts, and manage the team competitively (wouldn't have a shot at making the playoffs but would be a legit team to face week in and week out).
I'm not sure what my options are but we can find out come Friday
