Try looking for a Jaguar XJR or S-Type R, both can be found for ~25-30 for low miles and I would imagine both would be better cars then the C55 both in terms of comfort and speed.

The C55 is a beaut.

Oh but I forgot to add that it will be very costly if anything goes wrong in that car. Friend got quoted something like $ 1200 for spark plugs, ended up doing it for $ 800 at a private shop, but still, that's alot

You forgot the whole "Jaguar is a piece of shit" part.

Why don't you put that money towards living closer to work? I wouldn't want that kind of horrible commute even if I did it in a Bentley Continental.

It's complicated, my GF is a vet who is on call a couple times a week, she must live within 15 minutes of her work.
In order for us to live together, the only option for me is to be the commuter bitch. We both have great jobs that we love, so for now, this is the best option.
It was a big decision for me, I sold my house and everything over a year ago. All in all, it's worth it, otherwise I'd be driving back and forth in the middle of the night anyways(which I did for 6 months prior to moving).
Anyways, I'm not gonna go for it now thanks for the advice everyone. I'm gonna hold onto the Subie for a year or so more, then I'll jump into something new. Holding onto two cars with the insurance and all that just isn't a smart decision for me at this time and I don't want a Merc as my only vehicle.

if you are in a wrx, and want to upgrade for highway comfort, why not Legacy GT?

It's on my shortlist for sure. I want to see what the new model has to offer, that's why I'm leaning towards waiting.
If they offer a Spec.B version with a turbo ~300hp and a 6speed, well I'm all over that.
