Ok, who is this old guy talking next to Clint? He's going on way too long.

Has Seinfeld ever hosted? If not, he should. If yes, he should do it again.

lol, seinfeld delivers. this is what we should be seeing, not smarmy vice presidents babbling on about their cause
Most winners of the documentary category like to babble about their cause.
I was talking about presentations, not acceptance speeches. algore presented earlier
DiCaprio pushed that more than Al Gore, didn't he? I would agree with you on that point, but either way I don't see how one or two moments in a 4 hour show would bother someone so much. The rest of the show is very amusing, IMO.

That's exactly why they didn't win. They fought each other for votes.

You're just justifying things because I'm sure you guessed Etheridge's song would win I understand what you're saying, but I don't believe it. Either way, I was just making a joke...if the songs didn't deserve to win, they didn't deserve to win.
And this is a very varied montage.

I enjoyed it as well. I think there is merit to the best song thing, because that particular song wasn't as good as the dreamgirls ones. It didn't win because of some agenda though, just because the dreamgirls songs stole votes from each other.
