0% apr is always good if you need to buy. Wife bought a new 2006 V6 FWD Vue last July during the 0% for 72 mons special thur GMAC. GREAT engine - low end torque, passing/merging acceleration, and has a delicious "growl" while getting up to speed quickly. It also got 28.3 mpg on interstate @ 72mph last fall during our vacation. For those that didn't know the 3.5L V6 is made & supplied by Honda - it's the same V6 in the Pilot & Odyssey van. The 5 speed auto trans is also made by Honda. This was the main reason we bought the VUE. The Chevy Equinox is on the same chassis, and is some ways is a more complete SUV than the Vue, but it uses a GM V6.

FWIW many other GM vehicles have 5 yr no interest also. Just bought me a 2007 Malibu LT for 0%.

the 2008 model is the big redesign, this model has been about the same for 3-4 years, something like that

the 2008's are coming during the summer i think

You mean a Subaru? Subaru is not a General Motors vehicle so it doesn't apply. There are currently no zero percent offers on WRXs that I could see on SUbaru's website, but there are regional deals that do pop up from time to time.

Eh, I'm sure this is an error, but I'm not sure in what sense

1) It's Saturn, not Subaru
2) Having a V6 and AWD doesn't put this in the same class as a WRX
3) It's an SUV

I was going to suggest checking out Saab since they used to offer what people called the "Saabaru" since it used the same drivetrain and engine a WRX did, but I don't see it on their site anymore. The 9.3 2.0T doesn't have the same specs. You won't find 0% on a WRX for a few more months until the 2008's start showing up and they're looking to clear out the 07's. I got 1.9% on my 04 WRX purchasing it a month before the release of the 05's.

All I can say is American car companies seem to be having a hell of a time. My parents bought a brand new Mercury Mariner for 0% for 6 years in September. These companies are practically giving away vehicles.

There has been some confusion with linking Subaru with GM because GM used to own a ~20% share in Fuji Heavy Industries, the parent company of Subaru. Toyota agreed to buy a little over 7% of that share with the remainder to be sold at market.

Back to the thread... This does appear to be a pretty decent vehicle. I was not aware that it had a Honda engine/transmission. This certainly makes it more favorable. The MPG numbers look pretty good for a 3.5l V-6 too.

honda engine, yes. honda transmission... eh... gm hasn't had any transmission trouble in the last few years that i know of, while honda has.

I have a 03 AWD Vue with the 3.0L V6 that I bought during the 0% craze in 2003 and to be honest with everyone here, I'll be ecstatic when I sell it (after it's paid off) and buy a quality vehicle. Right now, it is only 8 months out of warranty and I am about to drop over $1000 on a new water pump, thermostat, and other various problems that are synonymous with the 03 model :disgust:. The main reason why I didn't do the work myself is because the horrible engine design (see: 100,000 mile "maintenance-free" transmission). I'm just lucky I didn't buy the 4 cylinder with the VTI transmission (just Google "VTI VUE problems" and you'll see what I mean).

Once they shifted over to the Honda 3.5L, there were fewer complaints about the VUE, but it was still an ACDelco infested automobile. Minor complaints (e.g. wind noise, peevish transmission, electrical issues, etc.) have been improved over the years, but I am still a Saturn skeptic.

Check out the forums on SaturnFans and you see what others have to say about the VUE. I would say that a majority of owners love their VUE, but I expected something a bit different. I am not a completely unhappy Saturn customer, I'm just not convinced that the term "quality" was the first thing on the engineer's mind when designing the VUE. Ohhh well, maybe I'll just set 'the bar' a bit lower when I buy my next vehicle

not bad, AWD V6 monthly payment is ~$400 - if ur getting 5% on your savings, than you only need $100K to get a free $25K car.
I heard good things about Saturn dealers & sales people, is it true?

my first Hot deals thread, please don't hurt me

Okay, but only because the whips and chains are out on loan to the mods.

Thanks for the heads-up on the 0% financing.

GM is also doing 0% APR for 36 months on in stock '07 Corvettes excluding the Z06 in most parts of the country. It's extremely rare for GM to do any promotion on Corvettes. Most promotions exclude Vettes.

That's what I was thinking when I saw the subtitle of this thread...wow, have we gotten that bad in here? This may not be my deal of the day, but hey, thanks for bringing it to our attention. No hurting here.
