I will watch the World Series regardless, hell I may even go to a game. I'm a huge Sox fan but going to school in Colorado (and living with a sports fanatic) it's been damn near impossible to ignore this streak.

I think the rockies will hold their own against the Sox. I mean the Sox had a tough time with the Indians and they don't have the defense the Rockies have and the pitching on Colorado's side has gotten quite a bit better. I think we're in for one hell of a series either way. I'm guessing 7 full games right now... count it.

Wow. You guys just gave us a crazy run for our money. We could take nothing for granted, not a single swing, not a single pitch. Ultimately it went our way, but you guys wanted it just as bad and it showed in your relentless gameplay. You should be proud of what you guys accomplished in your division series. You can't be mad at your third base coach either. His responsibility is to make a snap judgement on if the ball is playable, and it was a fucked up tricky play, simple and plain. His first decision was to wave him through, but you can't blame him for holding him up based on the horizontal bounce it took off the side. It could have easily gone either way, and he'd be crucified if Lofton was thrown out. As it were, nobody was actually out on the play, and the game got cracked open later anyway... IMHO everyone should cut him a break.

Oh, and kindly disregard the dickhead "Pink Hat" Sox fans who give all of Sox Nation a bad name with their crass posts, and can't name anyone besides Clemens, Boggs, Ted Williams, or Babe Ruth from a pre-'04 roster. We actually hate them more than you.

Cheering for the Rockies (go Helton!) but I really fear the 8 day layoff. It seems like Boston bats came alive and will have less downtime. I know the Rockies have played some scrimmages but it's just not the same.

i agree with that statement 100% games starting at 10 suck for people in EST, especially those that get up and go to work

same thing with MNF and SNF, i rarley if ever watch more then the 1st half becuase its freeking midnight at that point

I agree times were horrible. Why was there a game break between games 4 and 5? Why start games at 8 everyday..why not 6...
